If I follow the pics on flickr correctly, it looks like a bunch of police show up , stare at the boat a bit, flip it over, and leave.

Pretty much - then they stand around taking photos until another boat washes up. Repeat a few times, til they get bored and go home.

Impressionnante cette tempête! Hmmm... I wonder where I've seen the CRS turn up, watch what goes on, do nothing, then go home before???? At least they didn't get the cards out and have a game of snap..
I was gonna say what you up to at the weekend as I'd had a crap day at work and fancied escaping for a few days, but given that we've stolen your sunshine, I think I might stay :) lol
